The new Czech brand CULTO will launch the first modular furniture kit made of lightweight concrete in Prague. Its proprietary mixture with a high (70%+) share of secondary raw materials, significantly lower weight (up to 60% less than regular concrete) and mechanical connection for \u201cdry\u201d assembly moves concrete from architecture to interior design \u2014 affordable, variable and with respect for craftsmanship. CULTO will unveil the first edition: a collection of five basic concrete colors; mass production will begin in January 2026. The Designblok is not only a premiere for the brand, but also the start of a long-term journey to international expansion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>CULTO is introducing a new category of furniture: a concrete building block that assembles like architectural LEGO. The proprietary lightweight mixture recipe uses over 80% secondary raw materials and reduces the weight of the blocks by up to 60% compared to standard concrete. This opens up affordable logistics, easy home handling and e-commerce, without losing the material integrity and aesthetics of concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heart of the kit is a mechanical joint developed specifically for CULTO. It enables solid, repeatedly demountable structures without backs or reinforcements. Assembly is quick, \u201cdry\u201d and without tools \u2014 an aesthetic construction that respects the logic of building materials and projects it into the interior. The result is furniture that grows with users and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premiere installation at Designblok will present the first edition: five basic concrete colors created by pigmentation in the mass and the CULTO SHELF system with a curatorially selected palette of shades in double powder coating \u2014 for the most clean and durable surface. (Color editions and limits will be expanded over time.) In parallel, the brand is launching the CULTO Studio program for architects and interior designers: background materials, sampling, visualization and tailor-made production to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the long term, CULTO plans to build on direct sales (D2C) and an online configurator that connects user creativity with lean production. The configurator will allow maximum personalization of the form and function of the resulting product \u2014 from the size and typology of the assembly to the color of the concrete and shelves to additional elements, with transparent pricing and fast delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand's ambition is to build a globally respected Czech modular furniture brand \"Made in Czechia\" by 2030. The strategic expansion includes a showroom in Prague, Berlin and Copenhagen and targeting European markets, where demand for premium, sustainable and flexible furniture is growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind CULTO there is a concrete craft studio with a manufacturing workshop near Prague. Production is based on lean principles, a system of standardized modules and \"mass-customization\". This allows for practically tailor-made solutions - from home libraries to complex office installations - while maintaining fast local production and timeless aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation presentation at Designblok was designed by renowned designer Petr H\u00e1k, together with designer and co-founder of the CULTO brand, Michal Brach. The spatial interpretation will show how concrete can abandon heavy forms in a sustainable, lightweight and variable concept and become a refined element of the interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand's success is confirmed by its advancement to the semi-finals of this year's Idea of \u200b\u200bthe year 2025<\/strong>, the largest Czech startup competition, which recognizes technological and design innovations with global potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
