Jana Hejnicová

Brand & Business Development

She led marketing at scale-up DODO for seven years and was involved in its expansion from one city to five European markets. Today, she brings the same growth mindset to CULTO, where she is responsible for strategy, business, and brand. Thanks to her experience in brand management in B2C and B2B environments, as well as her own entrepreneurial projects, she is able to connect a strong visual story with a functional business strategy. Jana believes that good design has a long lifespan and that the combination of craftsmanship, innovation, and modern communication is the path to success beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.

"We don't want concrete to play second fiddle in the interior. CULTO turns it into a refined building module — strong, light and playful. CULTO is a building kit that holds the form and the idea: from the material with a high proportion of secondary raw materials to the digital configurator that translates ideas into production and maximizes the possibilities of product personalization. Our goal is to bring to the market an aspirational Czech brand that will stand out not only at home, but also on the European scene — and to show that design from the Czech Republic can have global ambitions."

Michal Brach

Design & Production

He originally studied architecture and construction at the Czech Technical University, but dedicated his career to creating with concrete. He has more than ten years of experience as a concrete craftsman and designer. He developed his own lightweight concrete mix and a unique connecting system, which form the basis of the CULTO modular building kit. He has collaborated with leading Czech architects and participated, for example, in the project House with a pink island, awarded the title of Interior of the Year 2022. At CULTO, he is in charge of design and material development as well as production processes and believes that concrete can be not only durable, but also aesthetically distinctive and variable material for modern interiors.

"We respect concrete precisely because it doesn't play around. It is heavy, strong and durable - but in the interior it is often relegated to the role of a hidden carrier. With CULTO we reverse this logic: we give concrete precise geometry, the ability to repeatedly assemble and disassemble it, and let its natural properties stand out without adhesives and coatings that would cover them. We want concrete to be treated as naturally as wood or metal - with refinement, moderation and awareness of its strength."
